Ristretto Barista is one of the most intense coffees in the Dolce Gusto® range. A ristretto is an espresso variant which is famous for being among the strongest and most intense coffees made, since it is brewed with the same amount of coffee as a regular espresso, but only with half as much water.

Here you are therefore guaranteed a small cup full of power, which comes with a syrup-like body and golden crema. It is therefore best enjoyed when sipped slowly, so that the full and rich coffee taste really comes into its own. And it can also be a good idea, as is often practiced in Italy, to serve it with a glass of water, to balance the intense coffee taste.

The fullness and golden foam of the ristretto get it from dark-crusted, aromatic Arabica and Robusta beans, which mainly come from Brazil, Ethiopia and Vietnam. It has a nice aroma and the exquisite aftertaste that only a real ristretto has.
