Description
Among the large selection of Gimoka pods you will find all the coffee classics, and of course many different espressos of varying tastes and strengths.
With this variety, 'Vellutato', you get a cup made from 100% Arabica beans from Columbia, Brazil and Honduras. The mixture of the different beans from the 3 countries in combination with a medium-dark roast has created a fruity espresso with great fullness, delicate sweetness and a mild bitterness and acidity.
Vellutato is Italian for velvety, and that's exactly what this espresso is. Too often you see espresso blends that have been mixed up with some Robusta beans for a little extra edge and acidity, but here Gimoka has chosen to use only the milder Arabica bean.
In other words, it is a classic Italian espresso, with a mild and velvet soft body.
We supply Vellutato in a pack of 10 pods that fit your Caffitaly machine perfectly.
Gimoka is an Italian coffee producer that can trace its origins back to the early 1980s. Based in Andalo Valtellino, Lombardy, the company is one of Italy's leading coffee roasters with exports to over 50 countries.
